- i waked up really early to send the children off to school
- their school bus are really just trucks with a cover
- later in the day i went to the taiwan village
- Kuo Ming Tang people that left china
- visited a child care centre and met some of the locals who were sitting around
- lunch there was great with an awesome view of the surroundings
- the children were absolutely adorable |

-rode the junkiest free wheel brakeless bicycle down to this petrol kiosk i saw on my way back home
-with melvin at the back
-double manual leg brake system
-met this guy who spoke english like a singaporean and found out he worked there for 10 years driving container trucks
-he told us there were opium fields just a little up north and told us ask permission before snapping a photo cause you'll never know
-his brother who owns the kiosk makes sculptures to sell in chiang mai
-i should have snapped a photos of the fat sculpture |

- woke up very early to catch the children from the mission home catch their truck to school
- sat at the back with them
- girls are really shy
- yimm = smile
- thought of taking portraits of all the children |

| day 3 |

-taking a 56 baht local green bus to the small town
-3 hours in a squeezy seat
-gave a kid a mint and he found it really really hot
-just standing by the road and waving your hand and you can get the bus
-stayed at a mission home for children whose parents are too poor to afford education
-about 60 kids from 6 to 18

-stayed at Chat House, Chiang Rai
-though it was shared toilets and there wasnt any water on the 2nd day
-the best guest house through out the entire trip
-very friendly staff who's on your side and not trying to rip you off
-80 baht/night for a bed with fan |
