" You may not be her first, her last, or her only. she loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She's not perfect - you aren't either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don't hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she's not there. Recipes from my mom [Aug. 20th, 2011|02:58 pm]

Chawanbushi
2/3 cup of can or box of chicken broth or clear chicken soup
1 egg
half slice of ham

Chicken broth and ham are salty, so, you don't have to add anything.
Beat the egg till even (white and York mix well), pour egg into the 2/3 cup of chicken broth or clear chicken soup and mix them well, colour should be lighter yellow, cut ham into small pieces and add them into the cup.
Pour water into the rice cooker and let it boil first.
When the water is boiled, place the cup into the water and steam for 15 min.
When the mixture 'hardens', it should be cooked.
It should be soft and may have some water on top.

Fried minced pork egg
1/2 lb of minced pork (season with light sauce, sesame oil and pepper)
1 egg (so it will not be too soft as having too many egg, it is difficult to fry).

Add egg into the minced pork and mix well.
Put some oil into the frying pan and when it is hot, use spoon to take the mixture into the pan to fry.
It is easier to fry many small portions instead of pouring all into one pan.
Once the colur turn light brown, it should be cooked.
You have to let one side cooked first before turning over to let the other to cook.

Steam minced pork with egg
1/2 lb of minced pork (season with light sauce, sesame oil and pepper)
2 eggs (with 2 eggs the food will be soft).

Add eggs into the minced pork and mix well and put them into the steam bowl.
Put tap water into the rice cooker and let it boil first.
When the water is boiled, place the cup into the water and steam for 30 min.
When the colour change from pinkish to light brown, then, it should be cooked. It should be soft and may have some water on top.

Stir fried chicken with broccoli
1/2 lb of cut chicken lean meat (season with light sauce, sesame oil and pepper)
1 garlic
3 thin slices of ginger
some broccoli

Wash and cut broccoli into pieces.
Use tap water, add 1 tea spoon of oil and 1 tea spoon of salt to boil water.
Once it is in boiling point, add in broccoli to cook for 2 min and turn off fire and leave it in the pot for a while.

Put oil into frying pan, add garlic and ginger and fry them for 1 min, add cut chicken meat (cut into small strip) and broccoli to fry till chicken is cooked, colour turn white.
